A multitude of private, scientific and public organisations in the digitisation sector are already hard at work researching new technologies and developing new business models in the Digital Hub Industry which is also located in the Park. The building's open plan, welcoming construction is designed to promote an atmosphere of cooperation. One of the ventures is a joint project run by Bremen's Ministry of Economics, Labour and Ports, the University of Bremen and encoway, an industrial company. The building was designed by the architects' bureau GMD Architekten.

It is also used as a show room for the furniture manufacturer POPO. The vocational school's new building in Bremen's New Harbour District opens a new chapter in the history of education in the city. Training and education have to keep pace with the constantly changing world of work. To reflect this, traditional classrooms have been replaced by niches and sitting areas in which students can learn at their own pace in small groups, equipped with smartboards for digital course contents. The institute is attended by around 1,800 students, who meet regularly there. The design came from the pen of Schröder Architekten.
