Bremen on the road for the future of logistics
Delegation trip to Silicon Valley in March 2025
Under the leadership of Kristina Vogt, Minister for Economy, Ports and Transformation, a delegation from Bremen will be traveling to Silicon Valley from March 16 to 21, 2025. The focus will be on artificial intelligence (AI) in the logistics sector. The trip is being organized by the Northern Germany Innovation Office (NGIO*) and Bremeninvest (Bremen Economic Development Agency).
The delegation trip is dedicated to various AI approaches in logistics. The main focus will be on optimizing last-mile logistics, i.e. the delivery of goods to the end consumer, intelligent route planning and optimization, predictive data analysis and the implementation of AI-based robotic systems in warehouse logistics. The focus will also be on the sustainable design of supply chains.
The aim is to get to know current ideas and new approaches and to exchange ideas with the experts in Silicon Valley. Bremen is the leading logistics location in Europe with one of the largest European ports and the #1 cargo distribution center in Europe. Logistics expertise in both hardware and software sets us apart.
