Corporate Design Manual
The Corporate Design Manual, officially adopted in March 2016, provides standard wording on the core brand values of the City of Bremen, along with copyright-free images and the brand architecture for the State of Bremen.
It distinguishes between the official and sovereign corporate design for the State and City of Bremen as well as the City of Bremerhaven on the one hand, and a location-oriented umbrella brand system for Bremen and Bremerhaven on the other.
Brand Manual
The brand elements enable both cities to present themselves on an equal footing. Slogans or claims integrated into the word-image marks differentiate between various fields of activity or product lines.
In addition, the Corporate Design Manual provides a communication framework for designing print media of all types and sizes. Its widespread use increases the recognisability of Bremen’s communications beyond branding with the brand elements.
