BAB Bremer Aufbau-Bank

As the business development bank of the federal state of Bremen, the Bremer Aufbau-Bank GmbH (BAB) is a key component in the development of the Bremen economy. The bank’s main areas of activity are the promotion of the commercial economy and providing subsidies for the construction of housing. The BAB offers a wide range of services with a large variety of funding approaches and degrees of support for commercial projects, which serve in particular to create or protect jobs. The range of services is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized companies and spans all company phases. From start-up through to the periods of development, growth and consolidation, we support companies in close cooperation with other institutions in the federal state and in neutral partnerships with local credit institutes. BAB advises the maritime industries in Bremen and Bremerhaven with regard to the optimisation of financing projects using public funds, and provides support in the realisation of projects through loans, investments or securities.
