BOCS Bremen Overseas Chartering and Shipping operates a regular conventional liner service between Northern Europe and the coast of West-Africa. The Bremen-based, family-owned company, established in 1990, is known as an expert within its special branch of trade focusing on the ocean transport of non-containerized goods. The shipping routes basically range from the Baltic, the North Continent and the French Atlantic ports to the West African coast between Mauritania and Angola and vice versa, with the ports of Nordenham, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Rouen, Abidjan, Douala and Libreville as ports of loading and discharge. Beginning of 2011, BOCS reinforced its services by launching three 28,000 dwt MPP vessels with combined crane lifting capacities of up to 150 tonnes, which permit the company to offer an extended range of transport possibilities.
