Deutsche Seemannsmission Bremerhaven

The Seamen’s Mission is a service provider for seafarers and the maritime industry. In addition to our personal, pastoral care, we offer accommodation to seafarers (Crew Change) and meeting rooms in our Seamen’s Centre. The house has 24 rooms and 36 beds, and is located in the town centre. The Centre is open daily from 7 a.m.–11 p.m. The Seamen’s Club – “Welcome” – at the container terminal offers seafarers a wide range of activities, as well as telecommunication and shopping opportunities. The club is open daily 3 p.m.-10 p.m. The staff of the Seamen’s Mission offers individual advice, assistance, and counseling to sailors on board their vessels. The Seamen’s Mission Bremerhaven supports the Central Command for Maritime Emergencies in Cuxhaven in providing Critical Incident Stress Management.
